Pop-Up Pop-Up is a series of free, inclusive public events, celebrates paper arts & literature. Each pop-up event is held at a new location and offers hands-on engagement, including pop-up book show-and-tell & pop-up card creative playshops.

Facilitators Tina Wright & Peter Brown share collaborative art inspired by pop-up book mechanics and memories of belonging, then introduce participants to pop-up card making.

Artist and Playshop Facilitator Tina Wright is inspired by the quiet magic of libraries and the kinetic interaction of pop-up books, to bring these events to life with education professional and paper engineering collaborator, Peter Brown. Pop-Up Pop-Up brings people and communities together through accessible, creative experiences celebrating belonging, storytelling, and inclusive spaces.

This series is intentionally mobile—popping up in multiple locations across Broward County to reach diverse audiences and celebrate the unique identity of each community it visits. The library, as a central theme and setting, reinforces the inclusive message: Everyone belongs at the library. Additional inclusive locations are under consideration including Crafted Art Club.
